River Remedy Opens Medical Marijuana Dispensary in Byram, Mississippi

February 9, 2023 – River Remedy, Mississippi’s premier boutique cannabis company, is pleased to announce the opening of our first dispensary. The sale of medical cannabis will commence this Friday, February 10th, at noon at 5925 I-55 South Frontage Rd. in Byram. Ongoing business hours will be 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Saturday.

The River Remedy dispensary will be the first in Hinds County and the only one in Mississippi with cultivation, processing and sales of medical cannabis under one roof. The dispensary will offer various craft medical cannabis products for qualified patients.

River Remedy Announces the First Shipment of Medical Cannabis to Mississippi Dispensaries

January 25, 2023 – River Remedy, a boutique medical cannabis company located in Byram, Mississippi, shipped the first medical cannabis products to dispensaries across Mississippi this morning. The delivery left the River Remedy facility shortly after 8:30 a.m. for delivery to several dispensaries across the state. This initial shipment from River Remedy is a major milestone for the medical cannabis industry and an important advancement in public health for the state of Mississippi.

“This is an historic day for Mississippians," said CEO of River Remedy, William Chism. "For more than a year, our entire team has worked diligently with other industry stakeholders in anticipation of this day, and we are thrilled to now provide high-quality plant-based medicine to patients suffering from a wide range of serious illnesses.”

The state has identified dozens of medical conditions that may qualify patients for the Mississippi Medical Cannabis Program. Later this week, qualifying patients who have obtained a Medical Cannabis Registration Card may now visit one of River Remedy's dispensary partners and purchase medical cannabis products cultivated and manufactured at River Remedy’s headquarters in Byram. River Remedy produces a variety of products available across the flower, edibles and vaporizer categories, all specially crafted to offer qualifying patients relief.
