Edibles

An edible is a food product made with cannabis extract, such as a gummy or a chocolate. The extract is measured into the batch during production, then the finished product is tested and labeled. Because it's eaten rather than inhaled, it passes through digestion. Cannabinoid content per piece and per package appears on every label.

Ours are sold only through licensed dispensaries to registered patients under the Mississippi Medical Cannabis Program. Every batch is tested by a state-licensed laboratory and tracked in the state's seed-to-sale system. Hemp-derived products sit outside that program under separate rules, with no card required and different testing standards. Labels state total THC in milligrams, both per piece and per package. A 100mg gummy pack and a 250mg pack contain the same piece counts at different strengths, and a chocolate pack may list ten 10mg pieces. Other cannabinoids present are listed separately. Batch testing determines those figures, as described in our lab testing and packaging process.

It's a matter of composition. A THC-only edible lists THC as its active cannabinoid. A 1:1 edible contains THC paired in equal measure with another cannabinoid, commonly CBD, CBG, CBN, or THC-V. Some products use a 1:1:1 ratio combining several. The package lists every cannabinoid and its milligram amount.

Edibles are processed through the digestive system rather than absorbed through the lungs, so onset takes considerably longer than inhaled formats. Timing varies from person to person. For that reason, wait before considering additional product, since taking more too soon is the most common cause of overconsumption. Dispensary staff can walk you through the label.

Keep edibles in the original child-resistant packaging, sealed and labeled. Store them well out of reach of children and pets, and separately from regular food, since gummies and chocolates look like ordinary candy. A locked cabinet or high shelf is best. Edibles count toward your allotment by THC content rather than product weight. Since July 2025, one MMCEU equals one gram of total THC in an infused product.
