BYRAM, MS. — River Remedy, Mississippi’s leading vertically integrated medical cannabis company, today announced that it has entered into a partnership with the Meskwaki Nation, a federally recognized tribal government. Under the terms of the partnership, the Meskwaki Nation has made a strategic investment in River Remedy as part of its ongoing efforts to diversify its investment portfolio, while supporting River Remedy’s continued expansion to better serve Mississippi patients.
The investment is intended to increase River Remedy’s cultivation and processing capacity, support the company’s next phase of growth in Mississippi and maintain the operational standards that have defined the company’s performance to date. Importantly, River Remedy’s leadership team and more than 90 employees will remain in place and continue to oversee the company’s day – to – day operations.
For patients, retail partners, and wholesale customers across Mississippi, the partnership is expected to strengthen River Remedy’s ability to meet growing demand while maintaining the company’s existing focus on quality, compliance, and reliable product a vailability. The primary impact will be increased product availability later this year as the company enlarges its cultivation and processing infrastructure.
