No worries! Here is a list of our dispensary partners around the state.
How can I get an MMJ card?
Book an in-person visit with a practitioner registered with the Mississippi State Department of Health. If you qualify, they submit your certification, and you apply through the state portal. The card is issued by the state, not by us. Our full medical card process page walks through eligibility, cost, timing, and renewal.
What products does River Remedy offer?
We carry whole flower, pre-rolls, edibles, chocolates, concentrates, vaporizer cartridges, tinctures, and pressed pills. Products come from our own brands and partner brands, all cultivated and processed in Mississippi. Selection changes as harvests rotate, so stock varies by store. You can browse our products by category or check the live menu for your location.
What should I bring on my first visit to River Remedy?
Bring two things: your Mississippi Medical Cannabis registry ID card and a valid government-issued photo ID. Staff verify both at check-in, every visit, for every patient. Your card is issued digitally, so a printed copy or a clear phone screenshot works. Designated caregivers purchasing on a patient's behalf need their own caregiver card.
Does River Remedy accept credit or debit cards?
We accept cash and debit. Credit cards are not accepted, which is standard across the industry because cannabis remains federally illegal and most card networks will not process these sales. An ATM is available on site if you need one. Card and cash policies can change, so call your store to confirm before a large purchase.
What does MMJ stand for?
MMJ stands for medical marijuana. You'll see it used interchangeably with medical cannabis, both in conversation and in state paperwork. Mississippi's official program uses "medical cannabis," so your state-issued card reads Medical Cannabis Registry Identification Card. An MMJ card and a medical cannabis card are the same thing.
