Frequently Asked Questions

Who can sell medical marijuana in Mississippi?

Only licensed dispensaries. Mississippi issues dispensary licenses through the Department of Revenue, separately from every other license type in the program. A licensed dispensary may sell only to registered cardholders and designated caregivers, verified at check-in. Sales outside a licensed location are prohibited, including delivery, curbside handoff, and drive-through service.

Who can grow medical marijuana in Mississippi?

Only licensed cultivation facilities. The Mississippi State Department of Health licenses cultivators, along with processors, testing laboratories, transporters, and disposal entities. Cultivation licenses are tiered by canopy size, from micro-cultivators under 1,000 square feet up through large commercial operations. Home cultivation is not permitted in Mississippi, even for registered patients.

What's the difference between a River Remedy dispensary and a River Remedy Dispensary Partner?

Ownership. River Remedy owns and operates five retail locations: Byram, Corinth Cannabis, Pine Belt Medicinal in Hattiesburg, Lighthouse in Gulfport, and Herbal Alchemy in Hernando. Dispensary partners are independently owned businesses that stock River Remedy products through our wholesale program. They carry our brands but are not River Remedy stores.

How do I find a dispensary that carries River Remedy products near me?

Use the partner directory on this page, organized by region, to find licensed dispensaries across the state that stock our products. Our own five locations each have a page with hours, address, and a live menu. Either way, you'll need an active MMCP card to purchase. New patients can start with our medical card process page.

Do all partner dispensaries carry River Remedy's full product line?

No. Partner dispensaries are independent businesses that choose their own inventory, so selection varies by location and changes as stock moves. Some carry several of our brands, others carry a narrower selection. Call ahead if you're looking for something specific. Our full product catalog shows every category we produce.

How can my dispensary become a River Remedy Dispensary Partner?

Complete the inquiry form in the "Become a RR Dispensary Partner" section on this page. Include your license details and the product categories you're interested in carrying. Our wholesale team follows up directly to discuss terms, ordering, and delivery. Partnership is open to licensed Mississippi dispensaries in good standing with the state.

Is River Remedy's cultivation facility licensed by the state of Mississippi?

Yes. Cultivation and processing licenses are issued by the Mississippi State Department of Health, and every licensee operates within the state's seed-to-sale tracking system. River Remedy is vertically integrated, cultivating and processing the products sold in our own stores and supplied to partners. Details are on our cultivation and testing process page.
